Today was the Celebration of Michael’s Life. Sandy, Fran and I went together. Michael would have liked it … perhaps he was there with us, it would be nice to think so – comforting. Of course a very sad day but a time to remember all the good times we had and to revisit with old friends and hiking, paddling partners. close friends put in a lot of effort to capture the essence of Michael. Many of his favorite treasures, collections and photos were put out on tables and even hung from the ceiling. My two photobooks were there as well, thanks to Kirstie and Gretchen and thankfully were taken home by Gretchen. He was huge in my life, and I will always feel love in my heart for him.
