it seemed after quite a long drive all of a sudden we came around a corner to see the red hills that make this place so special. At this point we were actually still quite a ways away from Sedona itself. We would end up coming back this way and driving through Oat Creek Village and then up to a most interesting old mining town on the side of a steep hill – Jerome.
